After reflecting on the critiques, I was able to revisit the presentation and rework a more metaphorical approach of this sense of surveillance/paranoia and ghosting.
I created a new folding form reminiscent of my last surface design, however with the intention of there being a place to travel through and have an area to display artwork as well.

After taking the paper models and experimenting with superimposing them into the actual sight, the scene began to take on an atmosphere. It has a darkness about it, though the passages and projections make me curious - like what's behind the screens. It still keeps the feeling of watching for what comes in and out of site from behind the forms - rather than taking the sense of ghosting literally, it showcases more through the forms - what is around the corner - what will come in to sight next and when will it disappear behind something?

The light projections also give a ghostly effect, as though something intangible is lingering in the space.
Artist, Ian Cheng created this light exhibition - Life After BOB - inspired by AI and it similarly gives this sense of something intangible and yet it is very real. I was especially fascinated by how the light travelled so eerily through a mist substance, dispersing the light in a more focusses, almost laser like way.
